Voyamee and GVM Care & Research … a perfect synergy!
The collaboration between Voyamee and the GVM Care & Research Group stems from the sharing of the same objective, namely Health and Wellness for a better Quality of life through excellent services whose focus is always on the centrality of the person!
A system of excellence towards a better future
Improving the quality of life is a complex commitment, which requires actions on multiple fronts. For this reason, today, GVM Care & Research, founded in 1973 by the President Ettore Sansavini, is one of the main Italian hospital groups, active in the fields of health, medical and scientific research and training, wellness and SPA treatments, hotel accommodation, biomedical industry and business services.
With an approach aimed at finding the best for each person, the Group constantly works to include everything related to health and wellness into a single objective, for a better quality of life.
Centrality of people, humanization of care, cutting- edge technologies, innovative operating methods, continuous training and high level comfort for the patient: these are the pillars of the innovative healthcare model that GVM Care & Research has followed with a High Specialization purpose for over 40 years.
All this is GVM Care & Research, a synergy of companies, technologies and skills with a comprehensive approach to health, at the service of every person.
For each person, the search for the best
The centrality of the person is always at the heart of GVM Care & Research philosophy. To this end, the Group has adopted a Code of Ethics that drives all GVM employees and collaborators.
Indeed, here at GVM Care & Research, we believe that constant dialogue and specific attention to each patient are the beginning of the best kind of prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
In order to allow every patient to have access to excellent healthcare programs close to home, the Group invests in medical-scientific training, and does research on and develops increasingly less invasive therapeutic techniques, always through the growth of its integrated network of Hospitals and Health Centres, now available in several Italian Regions.
Innovative vision, medical excellence
To increase healthcare quality in its facilities, GVM Care & Research constantly invests in research and development.
The high technological level that characterizes all GVM Care & Research healthcare facilities represents a great added value for patients and all medical health staff. It improves prevention, diagnosis and treatment cycles, also through better and more accurate medical reports.

It stands out for advanced techniques in Neurosurgery, from neuronavigation to radiosurgery by Gamma Knife, which allow performing minimally invasive surgical interventions, even in the most complex cases.
It is also specialized in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, with innovative interventions, especially in the prosthetic area. Innovative technologies and performances also characterize the Oncology field, for the diagnosis and treatment of neoplastic diseases.
Today, the Group Hospitals and Health Centres cover
all diagnostic and therapeutic areas.
Listening, dialogue and specific attention for each patient
With a multidisciplinary approach, both at single structure and healthcare network level, GVM Care & Research is able to answer to the problems of every part of the body.
GVM’s attention to the person as a whole is actualized through complete prevention, diagnosis and treatment cycles in all medical fields.

The high quality standards of these High Specialization activities also characterize our other fields, thanks to strict management protocols that allow doctors to follow the patient throughout the treatment, in the structure and, after that, back at home.
GVM Care & Research has always been committed to disseminate the culture of prevention, as a basic component of good health and a better quality of life, by organizing educational and informative activities in health facilities and on the territory.
A growing know-how
Improving one’s knowledge and skills is crucial in the medical-scientific field. For this reason, GVM Care & Research, together with its Scientific Committee, trains its staff directly, with the aim of keeping its healthcare workers constantly up-to-date, even beyond the Continuing Medical Education (C.M.E.) obligations.
In addition to the activities performed as C.M.E. accredited providers, Maria Cecilia Hospital and Villa Torri Hospital, the Group organizes several initiatives to promote professional growth in many areas, from prevention to healthcare management.
The Group – with its healthcare facilities, production and service companies – is involved in scientific research, and collaborates with research institutions, higher education institutes and universities, such as:

The starting point for a comprehensive treatment programme
With the aim of being a reference point for health in all its aspects, GVM Care & Research has created the GVM Point network in different regions of Italy.
It is a range of outpatient clinics and medical centres of excellence, available in big cities and small towns, which provide efficient and quick specialized services, always driven by dialogue. They represent the ideal starting point for a complete listening, prevention, diagnosis, therapy, rehabilitation cycle and regular checks within a single health network and in close relation to the Group, where Specialists can share their knowledge and resources.
The GVM Booking Centres (CUPs), on the other hand, are dedicated exclusively to booking healthcare services at the Group facilities, in a simple way and with very short access times.
Qualified assistance for elderly people
GVM Geriatric Care is a division of the Group created to respond to the increasing demand for diversified social welfare services, often requiring many healthcare treatments, designed specifically for elderly people.
This division manages both nursing homes (Residenze Sanitarie Assistenziali, RSA) and residential care homes (Residenze Assistenziali, RA). In line with the Group’s mission, these RSA take care of the health, wellbeing and social interaction needs of guests, in a sensible and professional way, according to their degree of autonomy.
In particular, in all our care homes, much attention is paid to the health of guests, taking advantage of the expertise of Specialists that work in liaison with the GVM Care & Research network of Hospitals and Outpatient Clinics.
